Finally after 8 long months of being "kicked" out of our home...we are on the down slide of being proud homeowners of a house we can actually LIVE in!!!! It's been quite the headache to redo and remove everything, but the end results have truly been worth it!!! This pic shows the new wainscoting that we added, the different type of stone I added in the hallways and my new chandeliers, which Scott can't stand, saying they are to "girly"..hello, you're married to a girly girl what do you expect!!! Get over it...hello alligator on the wall in YOUR room!!!
Brandt, in his famous AIG shirt, that he loves WITH his furry crocs on a nice 80 degree day..showing the new puck lights we added to our bookcases and the green wash as well which REALLY looks green in this pic, but it's really beautiful, I promise!!!
Standing in front of the toy room, we had to have new doors made, as the old ones where totally warped from the water damage...the painter did a fabulous job making them look like "real" barn door with his talented painting job....
The new back splash tile, which I LOVE!!! It's all hand painted, so it's not "perfect",which I love!!! They move our range back in tomorrow, so I'll be able to make a casserole in my OWN oven...gosh, it's the little things, sometimes!!!

They are Scott's favorite thing in the kitchen....All in all, we are so happy with the way things have shaped up to be...we are ALL walking around filled with excitement, there is just NOTHING like home!!...There is a ton of moving to do and unpacking, but it seems like the hard stuff is over..The workers will be there a few more weeks doing touch ups, some work in our garage, hanging all our pictures and mirrors BACK up..etc...gosh, I'm going to miss them, after 8 months of seeing the crew almost everyday, they've become part of our family it seems like..BUT it will be nice to have the peace and quiet that we were once use to...
